Tom Lowrie

Tom Lowrie is the proud father to Olivia, Jeff & Rob, and husband of 30 years to Tami. Tom is the Owner & Founder of Lowrie's Landscape and began Lowrie's in 1979 after graduating from Western Michigan University with a degree in Biology and Agriculture (and a Minor in Dance!). Tom studied under Larry Harris, who was instrumental in designing the first downtown Mall in the United States which was located in Kalamazoo, MI. Over the years, Tom has won numerous Gold & Silver awards for his residential and commercial landscape designs and implementations through the MGIA (Michigan Green Industry Association) as well as having served for over 6 years as a Board Member. With all of Tom's work and dedication he was voted Businessman of the Year in 2005 by Clarkston's Area Chamber of Commerce and remains a committed member of the Chamber today. Tom's dedication to his community is strong. Donating money, supplies and time to various charities such as the Eagle Scouts, "Open Your Heart" at Lighthouse, Scamp, a prayer garden at Covenant House and a 1000 sq. ft. brick walkway at Grace Center of Hope coming Summer of 2011.
